A more balanced, flexible relationship with food, step by step
Food Harmony is a three-phase nutrition education program: rigid rules are gradually loosened while your hunger and fullness signals are retrained.
It’s for you if…
Why a program in phases
A difficult relationship with food rests on two eating habits that work together.
The control loop. Years of rules and restriction build a circuit that runs on its own: restriction → control → loss of control → guilt → compensation → new rules. The more you control, the stronger the loop gets.
Blurred hunger and fullness signals. When you’ve eaten “by the rules” rather than by hunger for a long time, your inner compass stops giving reliable directions.
“The more I control myself, the more I lose control.”
It’s the sentence we hear most often in first calls. The two roads you’ve probably already tried
Diets
They add external rules. They bring relief at first, then feed the same control loop: the yo-yo effect many women know well.
DIY “trust your body”
It asks you to follow signals that have been blurred for years. Jumping straight from rules to freedom becomes a leap into the void.
Food Harmony
Works in the space between: it guides you out of rigid rules while retraining your inner signals, with practical nutrition education tools.
The heart of the method is the sequence: first you build safe foundations, then you loosen control, and finally you consolidate. Each phase prepares the next, and we move, as we often say, on tiptoe.
Two pillars, from the first day to the last
Food rule unwinding
Gradually loosening rigid rules: the list of “forbidden” foods, all-or-nothing thinking about meals, compensating after eating. Through gradual exposure and more flexible habits in place of rigid patterns.
Rediscovering hunger and fullness
Retraining, step by step, the signals of hunger, fullness, satiety and taste (interoceptive re-education), with guided exercises and work journals.
The three phases
The program is tailored: the phases are the shared framework, while your starting point, pace and goals are shaped around your story. You move on when you’re ready.
Understand
Create safe ground and learn to see your eating habits as they happen.
- Map the rules that guide your choices today: “allowed” and “forbidden” foods, set times, fixed portions, compensation.
- Recognise the loop in your real life, with your own examples.
- Spot the critical moments: tiredness, work breaks, social events, the days “after a slip”.
- Start from a safe routine, with small adjustments.
- First contact with hunger and fullness: noticing them, without having to follow them yet.
You’re ready for phase 2 when you recognise the loop as it happens, know your critical moments and feel safe enough to try changing one rule.
Build flexibility
Loosen control gradually and actively retrain your inner signals. This is the phase where change becomes visible.
- Reintroduce “fear” foods, one at a time and with growing difficulty.
- Dismantle all-or-nothing: an off-plan meal stays a meal, with no compensating the next day.
- Train hunger, fullness and satiety with guided exercises.
- Rediscover taste as useful information, just like hunger.
- Enjoy dinners out, drinks, family lunches and travel again.
- Where useful, rethink your relationship with training, rest and recovery.
You’re ready for phase 3 when your list of forbidden foods has shrunk, you recognise hunger and fullness at most meals and food takes up far less space in your day.
Consolidate
Make what you’ve built stable, so it stays yours after the program ends.
- Independent choices: everyday decisions start from your signals and preferences.
- Unexpected events and changes of routine: holidays, busy periods and celebrations, handled flexibly.
- Spot early when old rules try to come back.
- Your plan for afterwards: what works for you, written down.
“I realised I hadn’t thought about food for hours.” It’s the kind of discovery that often comes in this phase.
It starts with a free clarity session
Nothing to weigh, nothing to count, no homework to hand in: the work fits into the day you already have.
What supports you from the first day to the last
Daily chat support
Write the moment it happens: in the evening in front of the pantry, before a dinner out. You get a reply right there, within your day.
One-to-one calls
Time dedicated to you to take stock, set the goals of each phase and adapt the work to your situation.
Group meetings
With the same women for the whole program. Nobody has to speak, you can simply listen. They’re recorded, so you can catch up on any you miss.
Learning content
Short nutrition education videos that explain the why behind what you’re experiencing, to watch in your own time.
Work journals
The space where observations and exercises take shape, and where after a few weeks you can see how far you’ve come.
Recipe book and yoga
The recipe book is a source of ideas, not a plan to follow. Yoga is time to be in your body, away from performance.

Videos in Italian. Personal experiences of participants: every journey is individual.
All I can say is that I’m really happy because I feel so much better… Eating is going well, I’m trying to vary my meals. I’m training, I go walking, and what I notice is that before I did it because I had to lose weight, while today whatever I do, I do because it makes me feel good. I walk and I feel good because I’m out in nature, looking at the sky: in thirty years that had never happened to me, and I have you to thank. I look in the mirror and I like myself, but above all, everything I do, from eating well to training, I do simply because it makes me feel good. I had never seen it that way, and today I feel very changed. I’ve also understood that whenever I lose my way, when I’m sad or something isn’t right in my life, I must always be kind to myself and start again from me.
When I decided to start this program I was very insecure and scared of everything I would have to face, but also aware of it and excited to change my life… to find the freedom I deserved and let go of control completely. I wanted to live again like when you’re a little girl, when your priorities are certainly not how much you eat or how toned your body is. I knew it wouldn’t be easy: stepping out of my comfort zone, out of the precise, meticulous patterns I had drawn in my head, out of the control I had over food and my life, is one of the biggest challenges there is. Even so, I decided to trust Letizia, without knowing if it would really help me after past disappointments. Well… today I can say it was one of the best choices of my life. Letizia taught me that food is just a way we try to hide our insecurities and fears, that it isn’t an enemy but an ally for health and happiness. She taught me that I’m not worth more or less depending on how much fat is on my belly, and that my body deserves respect, care, attention and rest. That life isn’t just black or white, that setbacks and crises are part of every journey and that’s okay, because we’re human and what matters is getting back up each time with new awareness. That I should be proud of every small step, because even if it seems insignificant, it’s a piece that will help me build the person I want to be.
I finally recognise fullness and hunger, and I’m starting to feel incredibly connected to these sensations… When I think of the old me, it was constant pushing, eating as little as possible, cutting out more and more, and putting up with the endless dissatisfaction and restlessness that came with it. Yesterday I came off a night shift and wasn’t hungry, so I skipped breakfast (during the night I’d let myself taste what a colleague had brought) and went straight to lunch: pasta with clams at my mum’s. When I finished my plate, my mum insisted I finish what was left in the pot, but I was full and satisfied, so I said no. In the afternoon I felt like having the breakfast I’d skipped, so I had a soy cappuccino and some cake; when I got home at 8 I wasn’t hungry at all, so I went to bed without dinner. I did it all by listening to and respecting my body’s signals. Strangely, trusting my body makes me feel more connected and, above all, grateful: maybe for the first time I recognise that my body works for me. I always spoke badly of it, yet it lets me do and feel a thousand things.
Since I started listening to my body, eating when I’m hungry and paying attention to fullness, I’ve noticed quite a few benefits. First of all, energy: in my workouts I can push like never before! My digestion is regular again after a long time with constipation, now it’s like clockwork every day. I feel completely different physically. Sure, sometimes I see myself as a bit more bloated than before, but there are moments when I think “maybe I actually look better?”: it feels like my body is reshaping in a way I don’t mind at all!
Girls, I wanted to share a huge milestone with you! Yesterday my period came back after 10 years… You can’t imagine the joy! At first it didn’t seem like a problem, but over the years, especially after getting married, I started to feel less of a woman, unhealthy, wrong, and I tried everything. Except I was looking for the cause in the wrong place: my unhealthy relationship with food and my body is a symptom of a deeper unease towards myself and my family history. This year I decided to look inside and stop running away from myself, and this is a clear sign I’ve chosen the right path! With Letizia by my side I feel I’ll manage to make peace with myself and face the emotional rollercoaster I still go through.
After eight months on the program with Letizia, I want to share my joy and gratitude… It wasn’t always an easy journey, but it was full of surprises, discoveries and growth. We often think working on ourselves is something to face alone, but the support of an empathetic guide like Letizia can truly make the difference. She was a quiet guide: gently, she picked up on every fear I had and gave me the push I needed to grow. There were hard months, moments of discouragement and tears, but also huge satisfaction and rediscovered joy. It was a journey of authenticity and awareness that helped me rediscover the beauty of life and the wish to live it fully. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
Finding myself and becoming myself again… That’s what happened to me over these months, almost on its own. My mind started to think differently when I stopped wanting to control everything and began trusting Letizia’s words. I found a natural ease with food again, just like when I was little, and there’s no better feeling: I stepped out of the bubble I had shut myself in. I know it won’t always be perfect, but now I have much more awareness and I carry so many lessons with me that I can’t and won’t forget.
Here’s my experience after six full months on the program with Letizia… I started out wanting to improve my relationship with food, enjoy mealtimes again, lose a few kilos and tone up. Before starting I weighed myself every day, hated everything about me, constantly compared myself to other women, couldn’t find balance in my eating and hid in binges. Six months later my goals have changed: I no longer try to lose weight, but every day I work on appreciating my body. If I feel like eating something, I don’t get paranoid about it being “good” or “bad” anymore: I just eat it. What changed? I learned to listen to myself, with Letizia’s steady support but above all with the effort I put in every day. Checking in on hunger and fullness saved me: I learned to balance my meals and feel satisfied without ending up in a binge. At the start I had written a list of all the foods that made me anxious even to buy: today I’ve ticked them all off! I’m no longer afraid of grocery shopping. Thank you so much Letizia, you’ve been an exceptional guide.
I thought a lot about one word to sum up my journey with Letizia, and I decided “well done” says it all… Well done to me for deciding, for once, to take a risk and invest in myself, and well done to Letizia, who stood by me through the change, never pushing but always encouraging. I spent my life looking for answers outside myself: from the nutritionist to know what to eat, from the trainer to know how to train, from social media to know how I should be. Finally I found someone who managed to strip away all my false certainties, showing me they were ideas set by others that didn’t make me happy. I finished the program saying THANK YOU, because I have never been so aware of myself. The journey isn’t over, but now I feel I have the foundations to carry on by myself.
I came to you completely discouraged and bitter, back in yet another eating disorder, something that has come and gone for almost twenty years: more than half my life. Little by little I’m getting out of it, thanks in part to your program. I’m not following what people call a DIET, I listen to myself. I learned to allow myself everything, and that broke the vicious circle of restriction and compensation. A craving becomes a satisfied craving, there’s no leftover frustration that turns into a binge, and I’ve stopped using words like “cheating”. I feel like a biscuit and, unbelievably, I eat one biscuit and it stays one biscuit, not a whole packet. Hungrier than yesterday? Then today I’ll eat more. I trust my sensations, my hunger and my fullness, and I can leave food on my plate because I’m full: for me that’s a victory. My focus is: NO MORE EATING DISORDERS. So THANK YOU LETIZIA, from the bottom of my heart!
I feel I have more tools now… It makes me feel calm to know I can allow myself everything, like everyone else, always based on listening to myself. I’ve noticed I feel full during the day, something I used to feel only after a binge, with nausea and an excessive heaviness. It’s lovely to feel full and satisfied without feeling like you’re going to burst. My body is getting going again, I feel much less bloated than at the start (you were right) and very energetic, especially when training. Plus my period has come back twice since I started the program.
After five months on the program with Letizia I went on holiday with a completely new mindset… Trying foods outside my comfort zone didn’t scare me, and I enjoyed every moment with joy and calm. During the program there were moments of fear, when I felt wrong, ugly, insecure, but I never imagined I could feel so FREE. Thank you Leti for your words of comfort, for pointing me down the path that’s right for me, and for telling me off when I needed it.

The questions we’re asked most often
If I drop the rules, will I lose control?
Rules aren’t removed all at once. You start from a routine where you feel safe and loosen one thing at a time, only once the previous step feels calm. Meanwhile you retrain your signals, which give you a new guide.
How much time does it take each day?
The work fits into the day you already have: short observations, a few exercises, a message when you need it. Group meetings are recorded.
I’ve tried everything. Why would this time be different?
Diets only work on rules, “trust your body” only on signals. Food Harmony works on both in parallel, in a precise order and with daily support exactly when you used to be on your own.
What if I have a bad week?
It happens, and it’s expected. Hard weeks become material to work with: we look together at what set them off and start again from there.
Is it a diet?
No. Food Harmony is a nutrition education program: no weighed portions or prescriptive plans as the lever for change. The goal is for your choices to be based on your own signals again.
Do I need a diagnosis, or to feel “bad enough”, to start?
No. The program is for women who have experienced food as a constant thought for years, even if everything looks fine from the outside. In the clarity session we decide together whether it’s right for you.
The first step is the clarity session
It’s free: together we understand where you are and whether Food Harmony is right for you right now.
Book your clarity sessionFood Harmony is a nutrition education program and does not replace medical or psychological care where needed. If your situation calls for specialist support, we will point you to the right professionals during the clarity session.
